Assistant Professor of Economic Sciences Sukhorukov A. I., Belashov E. V., Economic Security Department NIISP under NSDC of Ukraine

Joining WTO creates additional risks for high-technology enterprises of Ukraine. The share of high-technological products in goods export of the country made up only 1.2% in 2006, the import of such productions was four times higher than export (such disproportion was stable in 2007 as well). Russian market is so far the biggest market for selling high-technological goods of machine and equipment building (53.0% of its export in 2006). The index of innovation security in Ukraine do not match maximum lever 1, that is why increasing of presence of Ukraine in high-technology markets requires serious and purposeful efforts”.
