Recent NATO summit in Bucharest was viewed as news from the battlefront, where Russian officials were struggling with insidious Americans, who were trying to absorb Georgia and Ukraine into NATO. So much attention was given to the reports from that battle that no one paid attention to the very interesting Russian President’s statement. In his speech during the Summit he calls NATO “to let Russian military equipment producers to the alliance countries’ market” (quotation from “Interfax”). According to his words it will lead to “improving of operational compatibility of Russian Armed Forces and NATO”.
